5 Things To Consider When Choosing Your Weed Dealer

There is a delicate balance between a person and his or her dealer, and there are many important factors to consider when choosing who you do business with. For those fellow stoners living in states where marijuana is not yet legal, you don’t have the luxury of stepping into your local cannabis store to buy the goods. Instead, you most likely have one avenue to obtain marijuana–your weed dealer.

The relationship you have with your dealer is critical, so it’s crucial that you know what things you should look for when you’re choosing who you do business with. Pay attention to these specific things and you’re sure to build a successful relationship with your weed dealer.

1. Dependability

An unreliable dealer is the worst kind of weed dealer. They don’t respond to your text messages or phone calls, they designate a time and meeting place but don’t show up, and they leave you hanging more often than not. Before you commit to making a purchase, test the waters a bit to ensure you’re dealer is one you can count on.

2. Brains

If your dealer claims they got their weed straight from Snoop himself–this is a red flag. A smart dealer will know the ins and outs of what you’re smoking and won’t need to tell you bogus claims to make up for his lack of knowledge. A smart dealer will want you to be informed about his product, and will make sure you know all the details necessary to ensure you are making a smart purchase.

3. Money

The last thing you want when buying weed is to get swindled and end up spending your whole paycheck on a purchase that only lasts you a day or two. Look for a dealer who respects your money. What does this look like? Well for starters, they won’t pressure you into making any purchases, they let you run the show when determining how much you’re willing to spend and they give you “the hookup” when possible because you are their valued client.

4. Reputation

A dead-give-away of a quality dealer is one who has a solid reputation. Ask around to your friends, other dealers, growers, anyone who may have dealt with the dealer in question to find out what kind of reputation they have. It won’t take long before you figure out which dealers are trustworthy versus which dealers you should avoid.

5. Relatable

Last but not least, look for a dealer who you feel you can relate to, at least on some level. You don’t necessarily have to be BFFs with them, but you should feel comfortable doing business with them. You’re most likely going to communicating with them often and asking them a lot of questions, so better to have a dealer you enjoy working with than someone you dread talking to.
