The group recently published a report that broke down the types of products weed users buy the most often. Here are the top 10 things legal weed consumers buy the most of:

1. Smokable bud –  48.7% of all legal cannabis sales
2. Edibles – 13.1% of all legal cannabis sales
3. Pre-Rolls – 11.5% of all legal cannabis sales
4. Concentrates – 10.7% of all legal cannabis sales
5. Vapor Pens – 8.2% of all legal cannabis sales
6. Infused Beverages – 3.7% of all legal cannabis sales
7. Tinctures and Sublinguals – 2.2% of all legal cannabis sales
8. Topical Products – 1.1% of all legal cannabis sales
9. Cannabis Capsules – 0.8% of all legal cannabis sales
10. Multi-Item Cannabis Gift Sets – 0.1% of all legal cannabis sales

A Changing Landscape?

Smokable buds are by far the most purchased form of cannabis. But there are a handful of other products that are starting to pick up steam.

Live resin, which is a concentrate made from frozen fresh cannabis buds, is the fastest growing product. Live resin sales are growing by 29.3% per month.

Carbonated beverages are close on its heels. The amount of fizzy weed drinks sold each month has been increasing by 24.3%.

Vapor pens, candies, lozenges, and gum are all also seeing significant growth every month. All of this could indicate a shifting cannabis scene.

Although bud is still outselling everything else, it’s numbers are staying more or less even from one month to the next. At the same time, these other products are becoming more and more popular.

There could be a number of reasons why smokable buds are still the cannabis product that’s purchased most frequently. One explanation could be that other things like concentrates are more potent, and people just don’t need to restock as regularly.
