Who is Blake Lively?

The 29-year-old actress got her first role in the 1998 film Sandman at the tender age of 10. Her father was the director, and she played just a small role in the musical film. She was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her role as one of the four main female leads. The following year she starred in the comedy Accepted. Although the movie was bashed by critics, Lively’s performance was lauded. In 2007 she played the title role of Annabelle Leigh in the drama, Elvis and Annabelle. 

Lively was also cast for the CW teen drama series Gossip Girl in 2007. This is the role Lively is most well-known for. She played the part of Serena van der Woodsen until 2012 when the show ended. She reprised her role as Bridget Vreeland in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. In 2009, she starred in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, playing the younger version of Pippa. In 2010 she starred in Ben Affleck’s thriller The Town, and in 2011, the DC comic book flop Green Lantern. She met her current husband, Ryan Reynolds on the set of Green Lantern, and they began dating shortly after. Other roles include Hick (2011), Savages (2012), Cafe Society (2015) and All I See is You (2017). 

Lively is also an avid cook and baker and has even appeared on The Martha Stewart Show.

Puff or Pass?

So back to the question at hand: does Blake Lively smoke weed? Unfortunately, there’s not much suggesting that she does. She did star in the movie Savages, in which she played the girlfriend of two weed dealers. That’s right TWO. And she got weed blown into her face by Benicio Del Toro, so that has to count for something, right? And the director of that movie was Oliver Stone, who is one of the most notorious stoners in Hollywood, for what that’s worth.

Unfortunately, that’s not necessarily grounds to say Lively is a cannabis-user. Although, she has mentioned she’s a big foodie. As we all know, eating food goes hand in hand with smoking weed, to an extent. When she was filming the movie, Elvis and Annabelle, she had to lose a good amount of weight. She stated that giving up food was the hardest thing she ever has to do for a movie because it’s “the No. 1 love of my life”. Sounds a little bit like someone who smokes weed, no?
