Does Luke Bryan Smoke Weed?

Have you ever wondered, “does Luke Bryan smoke weed?” Well, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s what we found about the country music icon.

You’re probably wondering: Does Luke Bryan smoke weed? The country star hasn’t been vocal about any possible weed use, but that’s not to say he doesn’t smoke. We decided to find out for ourselves whether or not Bryan is, indeed, a smoker on the down-low. Take a look at what we scraped up.

Who is Luke Bryan?

Luke Bryan is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in country music today. He was born on July 17, 1976, in Leesburg, Georgia. In 2007, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in the country music business.

Bryan initially started out as a songwriter, writing pieces for his high school friends Travis Tritt and Billy Currington. He was later signed to a recording contract with Capitol Nashville. Later that year, Bryan released his debut album, “I’ll Stay Me.”

His first single off the album was “All My Friends Say.” The song peaked at number five on the Hot Country Songs Chart.

In 2009, Bryant released an EP titled “Spring Break With All My Friends.” Later that year, he released  his second album, “Doin’ My Thing.”

The lead single from that album, “Do I,” reached number two on the Hot Country Songs Chart. In 2010, he released a third EP “Spring Break 2…Hangover Edition.” It included three brand new songs.

In 2011, he released his third spring break EP “Spring Break 3…It’s a Shore Thing.” He followed it up with his third studio album, “Tailgates & Tanlines.” That album was a smash hit, and included three number one hits: “I Don’t Want This Night to End,” “Drunk on You,” and “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.”

The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 2oo chart, and number one on the Top Country Albums chart.

Bryan has since released two more hit albums: “Crash My Party” in 2013 and “Kill the Lights” in 2015. He’s also released three additional “Spring Break” EP’s, bringing his total to six.

Bryan is also a noted philanthropist and has supported charities such as the City of Hope and the Red Cross.

Puff or Pass?

Does Luke Bryan Smoke Weed?

So back to the burning question: Does Luke Bryan smoke weed? Unfortunately, Bryan has never explicitly said he smokes cannabis. But there are some clues in his music to suggest he might.

Weed has always been a somewhat taboo subject in country music. However, artists are beginning to reference it more and more in their songs. Bryan is no exception. In the single “That’s My Kind of Night” from his album “Crash My Party,” Bryan hints at possible cannabis use.

The line reads: “I got that real good, feel good stuff up under the seat of my big-black jacked-up truck.” Unless Bryan is referring to harder drugs or catnip, we’re going to have to assume this is weed he’s talking about.

What else would one store under the seat of a truck? Country music has always been a form of real expression, so we’re also going to assume Bryan is speaking from his heart.

Final Hit: Does Luke Bryan Smoke Weed?

Although we are reaching a bit, Bryan’s song lyrics lead us to believe he might smoke weed. Although he’s been far from candid about possible use, the “feel good stuff” Bryan is referring to is no doubt cannabis.

In an industry that largely condemns it, why would Bryan go out of his way to lie about smoking weed in a song?  Bryan has done a good job keeping his weed use on the low but not good enough. We’re going to have to go with a yes on this one.
