Extendo Blunt: How To Roll One In 6 Easy Steps

An extendo blunt is essentially just a really long blunt. Almost all extendos are made by attaching two cigar papers together to create a longer one.

What is an Extendo Blunt?

“Extendo” is a term used to refer to an extended blunt. So, an extendo blunt is essentially just a really long blunt. Almost all extendos are made by attaching two cigar papers together to create a longer one. These blunts will burn for twice as long, providing stoners with double the pleasure. In addition, those looking for a longer smoke or a challenge can attach three or more cigar papers together to make an extendo.

Also, if you’re lazy, there are extendo cigarillos that come twice as long as standard cigarillos. So, you can skip attaching two separate cigar papers which can make the extendo quite flimsy. It’s worth noting that extendos can be difficult to roll for novice rollers. Before attempting to roll an extendo blunt, you should get your conventional blunt rolling technique down packed. Once you feel like you can finesse a regular blunt, you’re ready to move on to extendo rolling.

How To Roll an Extendo: Step-by-Step Guide

If you don’t have access to extendo cigarillos or you’re looking for a challenge, get yourself at least two cigarillos from the store. Next, you’ll need some weed and a grinder. Once all these materials are gathered together, you can begin the preparation phase.

Preparation:

If you’re using cigarillos with tobacco guts and one is dry, huff on it or lightly lick it until it becomes soft. If it’s too dry and you try to split it you’ll risk breaking or tearing the whole thing.  Once it’s soft enough, you cut it down the middle and empty the tobacco contents. Some cigarillos come wrapped in a tube with no tobacco guts. Once you’ve got just the cigar papers and some weed, you’re ready to roll. Follow these steps to get your extendo ready:

1. Grind up the weed by hand, with scissors and a shot glass, or with a grinder.

2. Thoroughly lick and moisten the ends of both cigarillo wraps then seal them together.

3. Spread the ground up weed evenly throughout the extended cigarillo papers.

4. Once the weed has been evenly spread, use your thumbs to push down and tuck all the weed under the paper into a cylinder. Gently press down and roll upwards then back down repeatedly until the marijuana retains a cylindrical shape.

5. Start tucking the paper tightly around the marijuana at the end of the paper with your index finger and thumb.

6. Lick the undersides of the wrap and press down with your upper lips as you work your way from one side of the blunt to the other, sealing it shut. You can run a lighter across the blunt quickly to dry up any remaining saliva then your extendo blunt is ready to smoke!

The Final Hit

You can use extendo blunts when you’ve got a big circle to smoke with or when you feel the need to get twice as high. As long as you sealed the two papers together properly during step 2, your extendo should hold firm, not floppy. If your end product is bending too much you may need to roll tighter or ensure the two cigar papers are properly sealed together.
