Green Ribbon Strain Review And Information

Green Ribbon strain information

Green Ribbon is a powerful hybrid that’s pretty much an even 50/50 split between Indica and Sativa. With that said, it usually produces effects that are a bit more on the Sativa side. Green Ribbon’s high levels of THC and its pronounced effects have made it a coveted strain, especially in California. No matter where you live, if you can get your hands on some Green Ribbon, you should definitely go for it. You won’t regret it, even if it costs a little bit more than you’re used to paying.

Potency

While most hybrids average around 13% THC, this one knocks it out of the park. On the low end, expect buds to be around the 20% mark. And on the upper end, that number climbs to as high as 28%. This is some serious sh*t.

Effects

The effects produced by Green Ribbon are pretty well balanced, although they tend more to the Sativa side of things. A few puffs in you’ll start feeling a powerful head high. When the buzz sets in, you’ll probably notice an uplifting sense of euphoria, creativity, and relaxation. All of that will be complemented by a smooth body buzz that will add to the general sense of happy relaxation this strain induces.

Scent & Flavor

Most users describe the scent and flavor of this strain as earthy with some sweet, spicy, floral, and fruity undertones. The smoke is fairly thick, but is usually not very harsh.

Negative Effects

Some users, especially people new to Green Ribbon or people who take a heavy dose, experience feelings of anxiety, dizziness, and paranoia.

Used For

Green Ribbon Strain Review And Information

Green Ribbon is a great strain for afternoon use, as it will boost your mood and elevate your mind without leaving you completely spaced out. It’s also an excellent strain for parties and social settings. After smoking with friends, you’ll be happy, giggly, relaxed, and in a super social mood.

Some medical cannabis patients have also had success using Green Ribbon to treat chronic aches and pains. And the cerebral effects produced by this strain can help some people manage mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Genetics

Only one-half of Green Ribbon’s family tree is known for sure. This strain definitely derives from Green Crack. As for the rest of its genetics, it’s a toss up between Trainwreck, some sort of Afghani strain, White Rhino, or maybe even some combination of them. One thing’s for sure, though. This strain maintains the best elements of Green Crack and complements them with some subtle Indica vibes.

Cultivation

Most people grow this strain outdoors. But you can also have decent success growing it indoors as well. If you do grow this one indoors, you might have your best results using the Sea of Green method.

As with most other strains, you can expect your Green Ribbon plants to start sending out flowers sometime between the 8-10 week mark. When buds appear, they’ll be medium sized and they’ll be covered in so many milky white trichomes, they’ll look almost white in color.
