1. Calculate THC

For a quick and easy tutorial on how to figure out how much THC you’re about to consume, check out our guide here. Also, wash your hands.

2. Grind your weed

To make a firecracker that’s lit AF, you need to properly break up your weed. Use a grinder to do this. The end state of your bud should be a fine powder.

Or, as fine as you can make it. After you do this, transfer your weed into a small bowl. This is just for easy access. If you have kief, feel free to add that to the mix.

3. Break Up Your Graham Crackers

Before you start spreading peanut butter, break the two graham crackers in half so that you have four pieces.

There should be a perforated line in the graham crackers to make it easier, but it doesn’t need to be exact.

4. Spread The Peanut Butter

Spread a glob of peanut butter, or whatever nut butter you’re using, on each cracker.

Since the THC is going to be absorbed into the fat of the peanut butter, don’t skimp on it.

5. Add The Green

Sprinkle the ground up weed on top of the peanut butter. For best results, divide the weed so that each piece of graham cracker gets 0.25 grams of bud.

This will result in each firecracker containing 0.5 grams of weed. Make sure you sprinkle the weed as evenly as you can on the peanut butter.

6. Bring It Together

You should now have four pieces of graham cracker, each topped with peanut butter and ground up weed. Now, you’re going to make two sandwiches with it. Take two of the pieces and bring them together.

Do the same with the remaining two pieces. You should now have two peanut butter and ganja sandwiches.

7. Wrap It Up

Wrap up your weed firecrackers individually in the foil. It doesn’t have to be pretty, but the foil should completely encompass the PB&G sandwiches.

8. Set It Down

It’s time to let your edibles “bake.” Set your weed firecrackers on your windowsill, preferably in a spot where the sun will shine through the window and hit it.

9. Wait It Out

This method of making firecrackers is also called the “sit-out method.” This is because making firecrackers this way doesn’t decarboxylate with an oven.

Instead, you’ll be waiting for the THC to be “activated” by the heat of the sunlight and gradually leak into the peanut butter.

This method is virtually scentless, which makes it ideal for a dorm room. But with such a gift comes a price. You’re going to have to wait three to five days for the firecrackers to be ready.

Making weed firecrackers on your windowsill has its pros and cons. It’s easy to do and doesn’t require decarbing your weed with an oven. But you will need to wait until you can enjoy the fruits of your labor.

If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t have an oven and doesn’t mind delayed gratification, this method of making firecrackers may be right for you.

On the other hand, if you’d rather make firecrackers the traditional way, that’s cool too! As long as you cook with cannabis correctly and responsibly, you can’t go wrong.
