Austin & Kat, a company based out of Washington state and Maine, is an indie business developed after one of the co-founders, Kat Donatello, wanted to find a way to help her pet segue painlessly into aging. The biscuits are handmade and use locally-sourced ingredients that are all gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free, with no preservatives, artificial flavors, or colors. (Vegans, rejoice!)
While these pet snacks are specifically made for (hu)man’s best friend, they can also be fed to other animals — though the founders suggest you e-mail them on their site to get the proper dosage for the other animals in your life. Nice side-service, huh?
