These 29 States Are Working On New Cannabis Laws
The legal marijuana landscape is always changing, and there’s still more to do. Here are the 29 states currently working on new cannabis laws.
3. California
California was one of the big cannabis victories last year, as voters chose to legalize recreational use. So far, the state’s newest piece of pot-related legislation is Senate Bill 175.
It’s mostly just a small tweak. This bill would prohibit the use of a county name in any sort of marijuana business or product unless the cannabis being sold was actually grown in the county being named.
4. Colorado
Colorado keeps plowing ahead. Senate Bill 17-017 would let patients dealing with PTSD, acute stress disorder, and other stress disorders to qualify for medical marijuana.
Senate Bill 17-192 would pave the way toward letting legal marijuana shops make home deliveries directly to customers.
