Snow White Strain
Snow White is a 65/35 Indica dominant hybrid. It’s well known for producing beautiful, frosty buds that are covered in milky white trichomes and tons of resin. But it’s not just a pretty face. Snow White also delivers a relaxed and well-balanced high that pleasantly affects users in both their heads and their bodies.
Most Snow White buds have 16.7% THC, and the most potent samples can go as high as 22% or slightly higher. On average, Indica dominant hybrids are around 12.5% THC. Snow White’s slightly higher than average THC content help make it the popular strain that it is.
This strain is an Indica dominant, which means you can expect to feel it primarily in your body. But that little bit of Sativa genetics help balance it out so that you get a nice, well-rounded high. After a few good puffs, expect to feel a light buzz in your head that produces feelings of happiness, creativity, and euphoria. As the high moves into your body, you may feel some pleasant sensations of tingling and relaxation. The high will last for 2 to 3 hours.
Scent & Flavor
Snow White has an earthy scent that reminds some people of tobacco. That odor is balanced out by a slightly citrusy, sweet scent. Those smells carry over into the flavor of the smoke, which is nutty with a flowery, lemony aftertaste. The smoke tends to be thick and flavorful.
Snow White is pretty easy going, and there aren’t any super pronounced negative effects. But you can expect to feel some serious cotton mouth accompanied by dry eyes. Some users may feel a slight headache or a bit of dizziness.
This is a great recreational strain. The balance of the Indica and Sativa creates a mellow head high and a relaxed body high without getting too extreme. Since you won’t feel too spaced out or couch locked this is a good one for social settings or evenings when you’re trying to relax without getting completely zonked out.
Snow White doesn’t have a whole lot of CBD. But it can still be used to help alleviate stress and pain. And some users find that it helps increase appetite as well.
Snow White was first created by growers at Nirvana Seeds. It’s the product of a cross between a White Widow momma and an unknown Indica poppa. A lot of people think it was an American Indica strain.
For best results, try growing Snow White indoors. It does especially well with the Sea of Green method. If you do grow it outdoors, be sure it’s warm and very sunny. Flowers will be ready to harvest in 8 to 10 weeks.
The best part about growing this strain is watching the flowers develop. Snow White flowers start producing insane amounts of resin as early as two weeks into flowering. From there they’ll continue producing resin until the buds are covered in a layer of milky white resin so thick, you’ll think it just snowed.
