Clinical depression is a complicated mental illness. Many people with depression find relief with prescription anti-depressants. Some say these pills even save their lives.
Weed is also a legit treatment for depression. Studies show that it can be very effective for other mental health conditions as well, such as PTSD. It works in part by stimulating cells in the brain that release a feel-good chemical called dopamine.
This is great news, as many depression patients do not find relief from prescription meds.
