2. The Hangover

Both alcohol and cannabis can leave the party-hard individual with a rough start to the next day.

But the morning after experience is much different after a one night stand with cannabis than it is with alcohol.

Alcohol consumption inhibits glutamate production in your body, and the rebound is awful. This leads to nausea, vomiting, splitting headaches, as anyone who’s ever been hungover knows.

However, you can definitely get hungover on marijuana. You’ll wake up groggy, and little fuzzy and slow in the head. Maybe you’ll be a bit sluggish.

3. Variety

For every new strain of cannabis out there, alcohol seems to contend with a new micro-brew variety.

But you know what all those different beers have in common? You have to drink them to enjoy them.

And that’s the only experience alcohol has to offer. (Okay, maybe you could butt-chug some vodka or something. Is that still drinking, though?)

Cannabis, on the other hand, gives you options. Smoke it, eat it, drink it, rub it on your body.

You’ll never get bored searching for new ways to get cannabis into your system.
