4. Healing Properties
Alcohol is a poison, straight up. It just happens to be a poison with fun and funny side-effects.
In the right quantity of course. Otherwise, it’ll wreck your body. No medical science has ever identified medicinal qualities in alcohol.
The praise some doctors give to a glass of red wine a day has to do with other chemicals in the wine, and not the ethanol alcohol that’s getting you drunk.
Cannabis, however… Well, I don’t have to tell you.
5. Road-Readiness
So for real, don’t drive under the influence. But if you find yourself in that situation, you’re far safer on the road under the influence of marijuana than alcohol.
And if you had to choose between drunk drivers or stoned drivers to share the road with, you should choose the latter.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has published a few studies showing no significant differences between high drivers and sober drivers when it comes to accidents.
You’re also way more likely to beat a DUI charge if it’s for cannabis and not alcohol. Reliable methods for measuring how high someone is when driving doesn’t actually exist yet.
