Manufacturer of Playstation and Nintendo Will Be Making A Dab Stick

This Playstation and Nintendo manufacturer is getting into another emerging industry: dab sticks.

The concentrates market has been blowing up for some time due to the increased popularity of dabs and vapes. Now, on the eve of Canadian legalization, a North American cannabis oil, edible and concentrates producer just announced they’re releasing a line of dab sticks made by the same company that manufactures your favorite gaming consoles. That’s right, the manufacturer of Playstation and Nintendo will be making a dab stick.

Concentrates Are The Fastest Growing Subcategory Post-Legalization

Though flower is still the best-seller when it comes to weed, concentrates are catching up. In 2016 alone, concentrate sales grew by almost 84 percent. Further market growth has continued through 2017.

Vaping is the biggest source of the concentrates boom. But dabs, which can give you a huge flavor profile and an intense high, are increasingly popular, too. Years ago, no one even knew about these types of dabs. Now, with better access and cheaper weed post-legalization, people are looking for new and improved ways to dab.

With increased demand for cannabis state-side and Canadian marijuana legalization in the near future, it makes sense that North American weed behemoth Nutritional High would be releasing a dab stick to go with its line of concentrates.

These Two Companies Are Manufacturing a New Dab Stick

Who better to manufacture a dab stick than the same people who make Playstation and Nintendo consoles?

Nutritional High has officially gone into business with KMG International, an oil company and manufacturer based out of Hong-Kong. According to a press release Nutritional High put out this morning, KMG will be designing and producing the dab sticks. They’re in the middle of patenting their designs.

KMG’s work in the video game and computer console industries gives it the manufacturing know-how and precision to make something as intricate as a dab stick. Additionally, their international reach—they’re currently in 15 countries and are valued in the billions—give them the resources to make a lot of product. Plus, KMG has experience in similar industries: They’ve been producing e-cigarettes since 2010, and have manufactured vape cartridges as well.

It looks like marijuana and video games are a match made in heaven on the production side, too. In the meantime, you can buy Nutritional High’s concentrates, edibles and oils sold in Colorado for the time being.
