10 Non-Weed Industries That Benefit From Legalization

Manufacturing

Manufacturing is one of the non-weed industries that could greatly benefit from the legalization of cannabis. More specifically, hemp. Hemp is a highly versatile material and could be used to manufacture plenty of different things.

It’s cheap enough to produce, and it grows fairly quickly. Those are two pretty important features, to say the least. There are plenty of different things that can be made from hemp. Paper, clothing, makeup, and even homes can ALL be made from hemp.

Oh, and not to mention hamburgers. California native Will Gaudet Jr started the company Bay Roots a couple years back, which specializes in hemp seed burgers. While the hemp burgers will not get you stoned, they provide a healthier alternative to common meat-based hamburgers. That’s a win in my book.

With such a laundry list of different uses, it’s pretty easy to see how the legalization of weed can greatly benefit the manufacturing industry. Oh, and Hemp production has literally been around since colonial times, so there’s that.
