This is What Smoking Weed is All About (Video)

Stoned and singing “in tune to the rhythm of the jungle” Ras Fari Joseph shows us the beauty in the simple things.

The video begins with Boyse Miller, introducing himself, saying “I am Ras Fari, the musical one, and I bring you gladness now.”

Singing an acapella version of “The Rivers of Babylon,” Ras Fari gets caught up in the vibe and carries on going into other tunes.

As he sings, you can almost see Ras Fari swell with love as he sings, letting the energy carry him.

The jungle responds to Ras Fari’s song, and birds can be heard in the background singing in counterpoint to his melody.

Ras Fari lived in Belize, where he earned a reputation as a musician and medicine man.

His YouTube videos made him somewhat of a folk hero for his peaceful demeanor, the love he exudes, and his mighty beard.

In 2013, Ras Fari Joseph passed away due to cancer.

His love lives on in his music.  You can listen to his album here.
