One of the best things to come out of the growing legalization of marijuana is the explosion of edibles people are coming up with. From sweet to savory, beverages to snacks, here’s our list of the Top 10 Best Edibles of 2015. Many of these products are currently available only in certain 420-friendly states, but either way, we think these are edibles to keep an eye out for.
Ganjalato makes what SFGate describes as “gourmet infused ice cream at its finest.”
Apparently, a lot of other people agree, which is probably why this ice cream—which comes in Salted Caramel Crunch, Cookies and Dream, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich—took down the first place prize in the Edibles division at this year’s 2015 Chalice Cup.
2. Bubba Kush Root Beer
Made by Keef Cola, this tasty root beer was the first place winner at the 2015 High Times US Cannabis Cup in Denver, where it was praised as an “amazing product tastes just like regular root beer and instantly conjured ideas of combining it with some cannabis-infused ice cream to make a fantastical float!”
3. Korova Gluten-Free Vegan Chocolate and Peanut Butter Bar
Edibles are all about giving people options in how they consume cannabis. Korova’s gone the extra mile by making their edible bars with organic, gluten-free oats and a vegan chocolate coating.
4. Know Label’s Marijuana-Infused Wine Tincture
Melissa Etheridge’s fairly well-known marijuana wine tincture each bottle personally autographed — “tastes like a top-shelf rose spiked with tasty sour diesel terpenes.” SFGate calls it “a knock-out.”
5. Pot Pocket
This savory baked edible garnered a lot of attention at this year’s High Times US Cannabis Cup in Denver.
Reviewers describe it as “a homemade pastry filled with black forest ham, cheddar cheese, and broccoli” that is “tasty and is an excellent savory option for people with busy lives.”
6. Freddie Hott Sauce
This tasty hot sauce is designed to be “Hott! Tasty & Medicated.” Use this hot sauce and you’ll be spicing up your meals with more than just a little heat.
7. Auntie Dolores CBD Chocolate Brownie
With 50mg of CBD, these delicious brownies are probably not offering any serious high, but will give medical cannabis patients some tasty and much-needed relief.
8. L’Atelie Canna Truffles
Made by Colorado’s TC Labs, this line of cannabis-infused truffles offers some incredible flavors including strawberry shortcake, fruity pebbles, smores, and raspberry bacon.
9. Jane’s Brew Cannabis-Infused Tea
The increasingly well-known edibles manufacturer Jane’s Brew now offers cannabis-infused teas in chamomile, chai, and green. These drinks give a whole new meaning to “wake and bake.”
10. Bhang Cherries & Cream Chocolate Bar
Described as combining “succulent cherry flavor and sweet milk chocolate,” this chocolate bar received some serious attention at this year’s High Times World Cannabis Cup.
