This recipe for weed bacon makes quite possibly the best edible ever. And that’s not just because of the unmatched flavor of the bacon itself. Weed bacon is the best edible ever because it’s super easy and quick to make.
Many of the more conventional edibles, like baked goods, require a time-consuming process of infusing fats like butter and oils with cannabis.
Weed bacon, however, takes advantage of the natural fats of the bacon itself. And this means you can whip up some sizzling strips of weed bacon in time for your morning commute.

The recipe for mind-blowing weed bacon is as simple as it is ingenious. All you need are these ingredients:
- fresh strips of uncooked bacon
- freshly ground up cannabis*
- two cookie sheets

You should experiment with the right ratio of ingredients. But a good starting point is about 1 gram of ground up cannabis buds or shake for every ten strips of bacon.
Step 1: Decarboxylation!
Decarboxylation: the technical term for “activating” your weed so that it chemically reacts with your body.
If you don’t decarb your weed, your body can’t absorb the wonderful therapeutic cannabinoids it has to offer. So don’t skip this step!
Fortunately, decarbing is easy. Just play it cool, dude. THC turns into its psychoactive variant when it is heated to just about 220 degrees Fahrenheit.
