Another pure sativa landrace on the list is called Thai. Popular in U.S. from the 70s to the 80s, Thai was also referred to as “Thai Sticks” because they are traditionally packaged into long sticks.

Thai is harder to find because it is meant to grow in tropical climates. Although it’s possible to grow today with modern greenhouse technology, the long growth cycle makes it less worth a growers time. If an expert has the patience, what they’ll get are nugs with a fruity citrus aroma.

Thai may be hard to come across, but you can probably find it’s children around. The sativa legend gave rise to the classic Haze strain as well as Voodoo and Juicy Fruit.
