6 – Friday (1995)
Friday depicts a day in the life of Craig Jones and his buddy Smokey. Smokey sells weed, but his love of the herb has had him smoking his product instead of selling it. This causes him to owe money to his crazy supplier by the end of the day.
Smokey’s love of weed is something we can all relate to, and the results are hilarious. Throughout this stoner movie, Smokey’s quest to get the money he owes makes for a hysterical flick to enjoy while you’re stoned.
5 – The Big Lebowski (1998)
The Big Lebowski is a fun comedy full of drama due to a case of mistaken identity. Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski is mistaken for another man who’s a millionaire wanted by kidnappers.
“The Dude,” however, is definitely not a millionaire. He’s a stoner who loves bowling, White Russians, and weed. Lebowski is so laid back, in fact, that his character has even sparked its own philosophy, “Dudeism.” Lebowski’s chilled out; bathrobe-clad character is among the most iconic stoner idols ever.
