7. Isopropyl Alcohol
A dirty grinder can be cleaned in several ways. However, this one will get it cleaner than the other methods. The most efficient method for thoroughly cleaning metal grinders is with isopropyl alcohol.
Most grinders are made of aluminum, titanium or some other material that won’t be damaged by iso. Make sure you don’t try this method with any grinder made out of acrylic or any other kind of plastic.
Acrylic and other materials can be dissolved or damaged by isopropyl alcohol. First, separate all the pieces of your grinder. Then, put them into a ziplock bag filled with isopropyl alcohol.
Using isopropyl gives you an extensive clean. Best of all you can turn your leftover kief and plant matter into hash oil using the QWISO method: Put each piece of your grinder individually into a bag with just enough ISO to dissolve all the kief.
