Don’t want to pay the price of a liquid cleaner? We don’t blame you. They’re usually more than the cost of rubbing alcohol. Or maybe you just don’t feel like going to the store just to get something to help clean your grinder. Either way, there are household cleaners that will work on a cannabis grinder.
Sprays used for cleaning kitchens can be used to clean a weed grinder if done right. First, a glass or dish that can hold each individual piece. Fill it halfway with the cleaning solution. Then, use water to fill the rest of the glass or dish. The combination can be used to soak each piece clean.
Before putting the grinder in, make sure you saved or said your goodbyes to your kief. Drop all the parts of the grinder into the solution and leave them to soak overnight.
When you wake up, take out the pieces or pour out the solution then rinse each part with water. Dry it and leave it out on a towel to air-dry for a few hours before reassembling. Make sure there is no lingering scent of chemicals, and then you can put it back together.
When it’s all done and over you’ll have a clean grinder without ever having to step out of your house.
