How to clean your bong bowl piece and downstem
Step 1: Assemble Your Materials
To clean your bongs main section, you’ll only need a few household items:
- Epsom salt or table salt
- Rubbing alcohol
- Ziploc baggy
- Q-tips
Step 2: Rinse Your Bowl Piece
Run the bowl piece under water that’s as hot as you can stand. Just like before with your bong, the hot water will help start to loosen up all the resin stuck to the inside of the bowl.
Step 3: Put Your Bowl Piece In Plastic Baggy
This is where the process of cleaning out your bowl piece (and stem) diverge a bit from cleaning out the main section of the bong. What you’re going to do now is put your bowl piece into the Ziploc baggy, then fill it with the solution to clean it out. That starts with putting the bowl into the baggy.
